Beijing Great Wall - $20 for One-day Tour to Great Wall

If you want to see theBeijing Great Wall in an untouched/redone state, then this is the trip you need to make. After much looking and deciding we chose James Zhang as he was a member of the Beijing Mountain Hikers Association and from the information obtained from his web site . What a fine job he did. He was punctual in picking us up and spoke English very well. We wanted to experience some fun, great pictures, and adventure in climbing. James didn't let us down. A very knowledgeable young man concerning the beijingGreat Wall . He led the way and showed us the best way to climb some of the difficult areas of this portion of the wall. The views from numerous points on this portion of the Great Wall was breathtaking. The only caution I would add is you need to be in shape as the climb will get you if not. I enthusiastically recommend James. A great coversationalists and a fun time was had.

Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel in Beijing and took us on a two hour ride into the Chinese countryside...destination: the great wall jinshanling section of the Great Wall. A bit more remote than the standard tourist sections of the Wall (Badaling, etc...), the Jinshanling section was deserted when we arrived to watch the sun set.
